Year 3 Overview

Welcome to Year 3

In Year Three we are looking forward to an exciting year, where we will be focusing on 'Where in the World' - this is a look at continents, countries and cities across the globe. We are also learning about Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece and comparing Devon to New York. In Science we are covering animals, humans, rocks, light and green plants.

Children will be challenged with new concepts and ideas in Maths. They will be encouraged to question and develop their reading comprehension skills. They will be learning to express themselves more in their writing with a focus on spelling.
