GDPR stands for General Data Protection Regulation. It is essentially a set of regulations intended to give people in the European Union (EU) more control over how their personal information is used by organisations. The GDPR was formally adopted in April 2016, and was effective from the 25th May 2018.

Breaches
We take the security of all personal data, in the extremely rare occasion of a breach or loss of personal data this will be reported to the DPO immediately, the DPO will investigate and report to the Information Commissioners Office within 72 hours of the reported data breach.

Withdrawal of Consent
If parents do not consent to their details and contact information being shared with the processing companies which we use then they should contact the school office.
 
Can Parents take Photographs at School Events?
Yes, photos taken by parents/grandparents etc at school events are deemed to be for 'personal use' and therefore are not covered by the GDPR.
However, the school requests that photos of children other than your own are NEVER shared on any social media site.
