Pupil Parliament

At Tavistock Primary and Nursery School, we feel it is important that EVERY child has a voice. Therefore, each child in KS2 is part of a UNICEF Rights Respecting Pupil Parliament group. Once it is established in KS2 we will then roll it out to KS1 children.

The groups consist of:

- School events
- Communities
- Sustainability
- Charities
- Diversity
- Behaviour/SEND
- School vision and values
- Outdoor areas
- Health and wellbeing

The pupils have the opportunity to choose which group they wanted to be a part of. The groups meet half termly and are led by lead pupils and adults. The lead pupils were voted for by the pupils in the school.
